Japanese skin care

I’m back from Tokyo and I thought I’d share the skincare bits I picked up. These are drugstore brands in the $10-$25 price point. I have been using these products for a month or so and my skin has been loving it!

Ettusais Peeling Milk

Ettusais peeling milk- this is a cleanser with a gentle acid exfoliator. If you haven’t tried this or the other cult Japanese product The Cure, you are missing out. I recommend this to all skin types.

Ettusais Essence and Oil duo

Ettusais duo essence and oil- I’m using this for my winter skin, so far I love it and it’s great for a facial massage.

Goku-jyun milk

Goku-jyun milk- I saw a buzzfeed article about the lotion for this but I’m suffering from winter skin so looking for something heavier. This has a lot of hyauluronic acid and helps your skinhold on to moisture.

Porenice

Porenice- this little chapstick looking thing is supposed to fix blackheads, but it needs a longer test.

Ettusais Pore care c serum

Ettusais Pore care C serum- this is nice, it doesn’t feel gritty which I get with lots of other vitamin c products. I think this might be more of a summer product for me.

Lululun moist gel cream

Lululun moist gel cream- A lot of people know the lululun sheet masks. I’m enjoying this moisturizer because it sinks in quite quickly and the gel quality means that makeup sits well on top of it.

I also have lots of makeup favourites from Japan but that’s for another blog post.
