About
Felicity Cooney is an Australian designer. Her eponymous fashion label launched in 2015 and delivers fabulously bright, fun and high-quality accessories.
Felicity studied fashion at Central St-Martins in London and the Parsons New School in New York where she was influenced by her lecturers to embrace the idea of Zero Waste fashion design.
Felicity is well known for her use of sustainable fabrics such as roo leather, as well as creatively incorporating remnant fabrics into her designs and working with knowledgeable local suppliers to ensure her design processes are as ethical and sustainable as possible.
In 2018, she will be launching her first A/W 18 clothing collection. All her creative endeavours are supervised by her adorable pug cross Yoshi.
All elements of Felicity’s design process have been developed to ensure maximum sustainability. Felicity uses Zero Waste pattern cutting techniques to ensure fabrics are not wasted, specifically seeks out and works with local Australian suppliers, and runs her design studio on solar energy from a farm. She also donates any leftover fabrics to the local kindergarten class and they love it!
