Originally these shoes were grey!! But I got a bit bored in isolation so I decided to take what I had learned with the 2020 Pink brogues and try to create a pattern. I love pattern design, especially these organic shapes. I hand painted each pair with a resist and then airbrushed a custom blue dye over the leather. Each pattern is unique and the shoes were such a joy to create. Because of the nature of the hand dying finish, contact with alcohol based liquids could change and lift the colour. The brogues are made of sustainably and ethically sourced roo leather, that is a byproduct that would otherwise be discarded.
